Tim Skarperud

Tim is a Grand Forks native and a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a B.A. in Business Administration. Before joining Vaaler in 2005, he lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he played professional hockey.
Tim specializes in general commercial insurance and insurance for schools and healthcare facilities. He holds the Associate in General Insurance designation.
Tim is a Grand Forks Park Board Commissioner. He also is on the Board of Directors of the North Dakota Golf Association.
Tim’s hobbies include golf and hockey. He is a member of the 2000 NCAA Ice Hockey National Champions and the 2002 Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) All-Academic Team. He is also a 5-time winner of the Grand Forks All-City Golf Tournament.
Tim enjoys spending time with his family which includes his wife, Stacey, and their two children, Carson and Emma.
