AWARDS, HONORS & DESIGNATIONS
Sarah Atkinson graduated from the Grand Forks East Grand Forks Chamber Leadership program in December 2021. Sarah was also nominated for the 2021 Mike Maidenberg Emerging Leader Award by the Grand Forks Community Foundation.

PROMOTIONS
Shawna Darnell has been promoted to Account Manager in our Business Insurance division as of November 1, 2021.
Nanci Raumin has been promoted to Account Manager in our Business Insurance division as of November 1, 2021.
Sarah Atkinson will be joining the Marsh McLennan Agency Upper Midwest regional team as a Contracts Specialist on January 1, 2022. Sarah is currently the Legal, Risk & Contracts Advisor at our Grand Forks office.

Dakotah Walker joined Vaaler in November as an Account Manager in our Employee Health & Benefits division.
Alisha Bailes joined Vaaler in November as a Client Executive in our Employee Health & Benefits division.

Stacey Mesteth was invited to present as a panelist at the UAS Summit in October on the topic of Risk Mitigation in the unmanned aircraft systems and drone industries.
SECURA Insurance selected the Circle of Friends Animal Shelter in Grand Forks to receive a charitable donation of $1,250. Colleague, Daphne Jones nominated this charity as part of SECURA’s holiday give-back campaign and we are excited her nomination was chosen! Representatives from SECURA and Circle of Friends joined us in our Grand Forks office on December 13th for a check presentation and a photo with a few of the beloved animals our team has adopted. Congratulations, Daphne and Circle of Friends!
