Bruce Vaaler is the CEO of Vaaler Insurance Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance and Insurance and has been with Vaaler Insurance since 1984.
Bruce is an experienced insurance professional dedicated to providing comprehensive and cost effective insurance and risk management solutions tailored to the client’s needs. His primary focus is commercial insurance program design and implementation. He has been closely involved in developing alternative risk financing solutions for large individual accounts as well as groups and associations. Bruce has been involved in the creation and management of Healthcare Select, a self funded workers compensation program and Health Facilities Insurance Exchange (HFIE), a reciprocal insurance company.
Bruce has been awarded the professional insurance designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) by the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. The CPCU designation is widely recognized as the premier designation in the insurance industry.
Bruce and his wife, Renee, have three grown children.
